Hair Transplant Cost in India
To understand how hair loss occurs, one must first understand how hair grows. Normal hair growth may be interrupted by age or disease-related changes to body chemistry, or by the changes in the external environment that cause similar biochemical alterations, such as dietary deficiencies. The effects of prescription and over-the-counter drugs can also impact the hair regrowth treatment.Know Hair transplant cost in India and Pakistan
Hair Regrowth Cycle
Hair follows a specific growth cycle with three distinct and concurrent phases. Each phase has specific characteristics that determine the length of the hair, and all three phases occur simultaneously.
- Anagen (Growing Phase):
It is the active hair growth stage that lasts between two to six years, until the hair is fully grown. Here, a new hair grows up from the base of the hair follicle.
- Catagen (Intermediate Phase):
It is the transitional hair regrowth treatment
phase that lasts for about two to three weeks. During this phase, the hair stops growing. The individual root atrophies and the base of the follicle breaks down, allowing the hair to move upward and away from the blood vessel that supplies its nutrients.
- Telogen (Shedding Phase):
It is the resting phase that lasts for about two to three months. At the end of the resting phase the hair is shed off and a new hair replaces it and the growing cycle starts again.
